AYO

One of the most spectacular music artists I've ever heard. She is :

A Guitarist
A Mother
A Nigerian
Internally Beautiful
Yoruban Born
A Singer
A Child of a German Gypsy
Externally Gorgeous
Tall
And a magnificent performer.

I sat with her and spoke about music as art, big business being the opposite of that art, her Father, growing up of mixed heritage in Germany, the "N" word, Berlin, Paris, Large crowds versus small crowds, being a mother, and Europe vs the U.S.

Interview coming soon, but her performance is already in rotation. She has a 1 hour special on PBS currently airing. "Ayo in Monte Carlo." Check you local pbs station for more details.

CHECK IT!
